Each person worked in a group of 3 to make a pirate ship out of a 30cm2 piece of tin foil. The challenge was to hold the most marbles which was the treasure.
The maths was measuring the the tin foil accurately. The challenges were to make the ship big enough to fit heaps of marbles but it needed to be strong.
