Koru art

We have been busy this week looking at Koru patterns and looking at different ways of drawing Koru patterns. Have a look at some of the ways that we have practised.

We drew Koru patterns with crayons.

We drew Koru patterns in the sand.

We drew Koru patterns in the air.

Mrs Tamati told us that the Koru is the pattern is found on the Pikopiko (Silver Fern). She also told us that you can cook it like silver beat and eat it.
