First we put lux flakes into a bowl.

Next we added some Lavender oil...

Rose petals...

Olive Oil...

We mixed it...

Scrunched it...

 And rolled it!

In reading time this week each child gets to choose an Inquiry activity to complete.

Daisy, Monty, Cater, Ben, Joshua, Mackenzie, Isla, Thomas and Marino role played what their ancestors may have seen when they first came to New Zealand.

Tiree drew the Scottish flag because her family comes from Scotland
Lea drew the German, Scottish and the New Zealand flag.
Joe, Thomas, Emily and Carter chose to put all of the places that they have visited on a New Zealand map. They took them home and talked to their parents and were all able to add on more places.

Chameleon changing colour

We were reading a book in class today and one of the things the boy saw on his journey was a chameleon. The students asked what a chameleon was.

After showing the children this they asked me to post it on the blog.
